Mick Antoniw is supporting World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2019, which this year is focusing on suicide prevention.
Mick Antoniw said:
“I’m supporting World Mental Health Day and its focus on suicide prevention.
“Every suicide is a tragedy and whilst men are more likely to take their own life, the female suicide rate in Wales has increased by 19% since 2017. Meanwhile, suicide remains the biggest killer of young people, aged 15 – 24.
“Samaritans Cymru provide excellent support and additional information and I would encourage anyone affected by this issue to contact them.”
