Mick Antoniw, Assembly Member for Pontypridd has welcome the Welsh Government’s confirmation that applications for Communities Facilities Programme grants (CFAP) from communities which have been affected by flooding will be prioritised.
Responding to a question from Mick Antoniw at the Senedd, Jane Hutt AM, Deputy Minister said:
“…I have already taken action to ensure that the Communities Facilities Programme will fast-track any application from communities which have been affected by the recent floods.”
The Community Facilities Programme is a capital grant scheme operated by the Welsh Government. Grants can be used to improve community facilities which are useful to, and well used by, people in the community. The Programme is open to community and voluntary sector organisations, including social enterprises. You can find out more about CFAP grants here.
